Who We Are
The Cornerstone Center, PC consists of two professional organizations, the Cornerstone Institute and Cornerstone Family Resources. These organizations bring together highly skilled professionals to help individuals and organizations in a variety of ways.
The Cornerstone Institute is an organization made up of professional Speakers, Coaches and Consultants that have developed effective means of improving human interaction, effectiveness and wellbeing. Our expertise can be accessed through facilitated meetings and retreats, private speaking engagements or individualized coaching programs.
Cornerstone Family Resources is a distinctive counseling center located in Concord, New Hampshire. We serve the central New Hampshire region.
We provide counseling for children, adolescents, and adult individuals; for couples and families; and group psychotherapy.
Cornerstone Family Resources is committed to utilizing the resources of the behavioral sciences and the spiritual development of the individuals and families to help resolve the personal and relational concerns that are encountered in life.
Our experienced treatment team consults with each other, psychiatrists, and the client's primary care physician as needed.

Billy Brown , D. Min.
Billy is a licensed pastoral psychotherapist with over 25 years of experience promoting growth and wellness in his work with individuals, couples, and families. He is a popular retreat leader on various topics and has consulted with business, non-profit, and faith organizations throughout the Northeast.
Vicki Compitello, Ph.D.
Vicki is a psychologist who offers psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in family therapy and uses a systemic, eclectic and strength-based approach in working with people. Vicki works with a broad spectrum of family concerns such as parenting, step-families, divorce, separation, relationships, and transitions. She also helps people find positive and empowering strategies to address issues related to anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, self-esteem and adjustment. Her research interests include child and adolescent development, systems intervention and gender studies. She has taught courses, presented workshops and provided consultation in these areas.
Linda Juranty, LICSW
Linda has provided psychotherapy and supportive services to diverse groups of clients since 1985, whether it be individual therapy, victim and witness advocacy or counseling for families in crisis. Linda earned an MSW from Boston College and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in New Hampshire. Linda works with adults, adolescents, children, families and couples using an eclectic and strength focused approach. Linda is trained in the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) an effective therapeutic technique in psychotherapy for overcoming trauma. She is a member of the NH Network of Trauma Informed Mental Health Providers through the Attorney General's Office.
Shirley Anderson Kirby, Ph.D.
Shirley is a psychologist who has been counseling since 1990. She has had previous experience as both a family Nurse Practitioner and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Her Ph.D, is in clinical psychology. She has a diverse history of presentations and consultation. Her area of particular interest includes communication problems, grief and loss issues, as well as family and group dynamics. Shirley works with adults, adolescents, families and couples.
Carol Mandigo LICSW
Carol is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is passionate about helping people find a more meaningful and satisfying life. Her style is interactive, direct and compassionate. Carol has over 30 years of experience working with people on issues such as depression and anxiety, improving self-esteem, grief and loss, and life transitions. She has special expertise in working with women issues, women in recovery, and healing wounds of childhood trauma. Carol works collaboratively with clients to help them better understand themselves and to overcome unhealthy patterns that interfere with healthy living.
People come to Carol for assistance with: Bipolar Disorder and Managing Moods; Depression; Anxiety; Loss and Grief; Relationship Problems; Assistance with 12 Step Work; Behavioral Issues with Children and Issues Affecting Healthy Adolescent Development. Carol works with children, adolescents and adults and is known to be a knowledgeable, caring therapist, a dynamic speaker and has a great sense of humor.
Rachel Vaughan, LICSW
Rachel is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who works with adults, couples, children, and families. She uses a collaborative, solution-oriented approach to help clients with family conflict, trauma recovery, mood disorders, anxiety, and parenting skills. She is also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) which is an effective tool to resolve trauma, anxiety and other upsetting life events. Clients find Rachel approachable, supportive, and practical. She draws on 18 years of experience providing family and individual counseling, addressing vocational issues, and working on in-patient psychiatric units.
Rachel has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and a Masters in Social Work from the University of New England.
Lori Lonsdale, LCMHC
Lori is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who has experience assessing and treating individuals with a variety of issues including but not limited to: anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, loss, adjustment difficulties, self-esteem related issues, divorce, relational problems, behavioral issues, ADHD and parenting concerns . Lori specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She utilizes a variety of treatment techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT , trauma focused cognitive-behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), person-centered therapy and play therapy. Lori is known to be a dynamic, engaging therapist with a realistic approach to issues.
Ed Orlowski, LICSW
Ed is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with 25 years experience in treating adolescents and families. He received his Masters Degree in clinical social work from the University of Connecticut. Ed utilizes a Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach when working with individuals, couples and families. A particular area of interest is experiential leadership training. He has worked with a number of companies, schools and organizations to improve communication and build stronger and more functional teams.
